Project: Website redesign

Aimee Hirschel, director of the Upper Skagit Library Disctrict, contacted me about making the existing website more engaging to the library patrons as well as make it easier for the staff to update. I designed a clean layout with strong typography to make the site easy to read and navigate. We worked together to choose a lively color palette that echoed the forest and river hues of the landscape around Concrete, Washington.

I also re-wrote the entire site's HTML to bring it up to current standards; created a set of templates for Dreamweaver to accommodate future changes to the site; and set up Adobe Contribute so that the staff could easily update text, images, and downloadable documents.
