Only one word can describe the Jaina Bee experience: Fancy! Take a tour inside an amazing art house in the historic Potrero Hill district of San Francisco. Granny's Cottage, aka Granny's Empire of Art, can is best described by the lovely and talented Ms. Bee herself:

“Granny’s Grannyboot is located somewhere between San Francisco’s Potrero Hill and your fanciest imaginations. Explore the many marvelous nooks and crannies, designed and assembled by her enchanted Grandchildren.”

Granny's Cottage is the creation of Jaina Bee and a coterie of the world's finest artists, including Adam J. Ansell, Alicia Rose, Bwana Spoons, Christine Shields, Jason Mecier, Jenny B., Kate Fenker, and other notables.

Initially, I felt a little unsure that I could produce a website worthy of such amazing talent and vision. Jaina and I collaborated closely on the site, and she created fabulous collage art for the home page and page titles. I wanted to keep the low-fi aesthetic intact, so I used clip art and created fancy (one might even call them gaudy) backgrounds for the individual pages. CSS rollovers complete the rough-hewn feel to the navigation. All the pieces fell into place and we came up with a super-awesome site full of remarkable fanciness!
