When Deborah Rhoades first met with us, she was armed only with an idea and a store of boundless energy. Her idea was generated by her awareness of the need for something that didn’t yet exist—good training materials for professional housecleaners. She had ten years’ experience in her field, and a talent for passing her knowledge and experience on to others.

With our assistance and direction, two months after our first meeting, Deb had a business identity, a book, a DVD, and an e-commerce website from which to sell her products. Deb needed a simple, secure method of selling her books and DVDs online, so we chose PayPal “Buy Now” buttons, the fastest way to start selling online from one’s own website.

We helped her kick-start her promotional efforts by preparing an individualized internet marketing plan and press release for her. Deb immediately recognized the value of internet-based self-promotion and started two blogs to spread the word about herself and her business. Her accomplishments are a testament to her hard work, as well as her ability to focus on the fundamentals of starting and promoting a business.
